Giraffe 2014 Birthday Celebration

Brought coupon from Living Social the other day but whose knows you have to book and get the booking number. That's my first time buying and the last time I were used to Groupon which you have to book but some of the time the restaurant won't be full. So I decided not to book, end when straight to The Cruise, guess what happen. They asked me for booking number and I said I didn't book, at first they don't let me redeem but lucky I come early and there is less customers and they let me redeem the coupon. 

Fuh.. save lots of cash here. If not it will cost us 100++ for 2 person meal and I have to come all the way to Penang to clear off the coupon. 

So moral of the story, Pls book for all the coupon that you have brought it.

Underwater Picture ~~ Swimming

This gonna be a short blog about the waterproof casing that I brought the other day. I have seen lots people posting pictures underwater but the other day when I went to Perhentian Island, I cant found the cheap price for this casing. Only after I back from the island. Wtf.. 

So, why not I just buy and then I can keep until I went for another trip to island. I just bring it to swimming pool for a try first and guess what it really work.. haha...!! Not bad outcome 

The ONLY hard is we hard press the capture button due to our thumb are cold inside water, so the only way to use is the air.. The air inside the bag. Fully utilize it everyone.. haha..! 

I learn this after a few try. !! 

Not an easy job to keep trying ok. I have to hold my breath under water and come up for air and go in again and ok, I get how to use it...

Matao's Baking Recipe ~~ Cake Pop

Cake Pop

I saw this cute cake pop from YouTube channel when I was viewing how to make banana muffin the other day. Then saw this cute cake pop and think why not have a try. This cake pop really took time to make it. You can serve it if you are in a hurry for a party or you are lack of time. It will took around 2 days for a nice serving. 

First you have to bake a cake first (any cake you like) I had baked butter cake and why not have a try first. I asked my mom not to finish up my cake so that I can make cake pop. 

Its actually looks like lollipop but when you bite it, inside will be a cake. How brilliant the idea. 

I don't have the cake a picture of my cake but I will show you after I bake another cake but I have a video of how people doing cake pop.

Here are the recipes: 

1. any brand of chocolate that you like (melt it inside the microwave) 
2. stick
3. cake 
4. any some decoration 

Here are my cake pop.. 

Oh it taste so good. The combination of the chocolate and the cake but the thing I dislike, its too sweet for me. Maybe I should try to minus the amount of sugar inside the cake or used dark chocolate to balance up the sweetness of the cake pop. 

But too bad for Malaysia weather, chocolate melt real fast is such weather, you have to eat asap so that the chocolate wont melt and if wont fall of. 

Have a try people.. Like it said.. It really taste good..!! hehe..

Banana Muffin

Here are the recipes:

1. 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
2. 1 teaspoon of baking powder 
3. 1 teaspoon of baking soda
4. 1/2 teaspoon of salt
5. 3 large bananas 
6. 3/4 cups of white sugar
7. 1 large egg
8. 1/3 butter (melted)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).Coat muffin pans with non-stick spray, or use paper liners. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
2. Combine bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter in a large bowl. Fold in flour mixture, and mix until smooth. Scoop into muffin pans.
3. Bake in preheated oven. 
4. Bake mini muffins for 10 to 15 minutes, and large muffins for 25 to 30 minutes. 
5. Muffins will spring back when lightly tapped.

First meal after I'm back from holiday

The first thing I did when I reach Penang from Perhentian holiday trip is having lovely dinner with giraffe. Although we planned it earlier to have dinner together after I back from holiday but it seem like I can't wait to see him or he can't wait to see me.. haha..!!

How tired am I that day, I have to dinner with him first. Oh Yea, why I choose to said the first meal because we (girls) have the most terrified experience during our trip which we almost end up inside middle of the sea. The wave are so strong, the wind are so strong and its raining heavily when we on the way to another island. The wave hit our boat without any mercy. (which I will save for the next post about the trip.. *for my memories that I can't forget*)

Ok la.. skip to the point about my dinner.. I went to Gurney all the way from airport to just have a dinner. Brought groupon the other day which saw its cheap and have it on the day. 

Reach Gurney with a tired face and almost fall asleep on the table.. Order the food and surprisingly it come fast. I guess around 5-10 mins only. 

Food Rating: 4/5

I wanted to give 5/5 but too bad you can't take full marks because you serve me with an old pig.. Its so old and the meat are so hard to chew, imagine you are chewing bubble gum for the whole meal and lucky another plate are nicer.. So I have to exchange with giraffe.
